• Fabric Structure: This fabric has a twill structure. Twill is a type of fabric weave characterized by having distinct diagonal lines on the fabric surface. In the pre-oxidized silk woven fabric with a twill pattern, these diagonal lines not only give the fabric a unique appearance but also affect its physical properties to some extent, such as strength and flexibility. The twill weave is usually formed by warp and weft yarns interlacing according to a certain pattern. Generally, the warp or weft yarn floats on the fabric surface for a relatively long distance, thus forming diagonal lines.
• Manufacturing Process: It is made through the weaving process. Weaving is the process in which warp and weft yarns are interlaced on a loom according to a pre-designed weave pattern. For the pre-oxidized silk to be woven into a twill fabric, first, the pre-oxidized silk needs to be processed into a yarn form suitable for weaving, including operations such as doubling and twisting to increase the strength and workability of the yarn.
