Aramid Blended Knitted Fabric

 

Aramid blended knitted fabric is a high-performance textile combining meta/para aramid fibers with cotton, polyester, pre-oxidized fiber, or conductive fiber. It integrates aramid's core strengths-meta-aramid's flame retardancy (260°C continuous/1000°C instantaneous heat resistance, LOI >28%) and para-aramid's extreme strength (10x steel by weight)-with blended fibers' comfort/durability, solving pure aramid's stiffness and poor breathability.

 

Core Traits

 

• Components: Base aramid (meta/para) + comfort (cotton/wool) or functional (pre-oxidized/conductive) fibers.
• Structure: Knitted (single jersey/rib), 60-600 g/m², 15-30% stretchability (flexible vs. woven aramid).
• Key Performance: Inherent flame retardancy, cut/abrasion resistance (>10,000 cycles), chemical/UV stability, lightweight (1.3-1.5 g/cm³).
