Kevlar UD fabric
The high-performance composite materials are made by arranging the aligned and parallel oriented polyaramid fibers (such as Kevlar® and Twaron®) in a specific way and pre-impregnating them with resins (such as phenolic and polyvinyl alcohol). The proportion of the fiber direction exceeds 95%, and they are specially designed for impact resistance and lightweight.

Tensile strength: 3,000 - 3,500 MPa (axial direction), 5 times that of steel, and even more than carbon fiber UD fabric in terms of shear resistance.
Density: Only 1.44 g/cm³ (75% lighter than steel and 20% lighter than fiberglass UD fabric).
Extremely impact-resistant
Energy absorption: The energy absorption per unit surface density reaches 200 - 300 J·m²/kg (10 times that of steel).
Bulletproof level: Single layer can withstand pistol bullets (NIJ II level), and multiple layers of laminated can withstand bullets (NIJ III/IV level).
Flexible design
Cuttable, sewable or heat-pressed molded, capable of conforming to complex curved surfaces (such as body protection equipment).
Supports 0°/90° orthogonal layup or angle-gradient layup, optimizing multi-directional mechanical properties.
High-temperature resistance & Flame retardancy
Long-term temperature resistance: Stable performance from -196ºC to 200ºC, short-term tolerance up to 300ºC.
Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI): ≥28%, self-extinguishing when away from fire, no molten droplets.
