What is kevlar long fiber woven fabric?
Aramid flame-retardant fiber (known as Aramid 1414 fiber) is a flame-retardant fiber that has the advantages of heat resistance, high strength, high wear resistance, good flexibility, low shrinkage, stable chemical structure, no melting droplets during combustion, and no toxic gas generation.
The fabric woven with aramid flame retardant fibers has good dimensional stability and can be used for a long time at a temperature of 250 degrees Celsius, with a thermal shrinkage rate of only 1%. The softening temperature of the fiber is 373 degrees Celsius, and it only begins to decompose when it exceeds 400 degrees Celsius. During decomposition, the fabric surface thickens, the fibers expand, and the temperature outside the fabric surface is 900-1300 degrees Celsius to isolate heat transfer without cracking.
Aramid fiber untwisted roving fabric is mainly made of Aramid 1414 filament, which is composed of parallel primary fibers or parallel single fibers bundled together. The single filament diameter of aramid fibers used in the production of roving ranges from 5 to 15 μ M is not equal. The count of untwisted coarse yarn ranges from 1000# to 8000# (tex). Untwisted coarse yarn can be directly used in certain composite material processing methods, such as special textiles, sheet pre impregnation, pipeline winding, profile extrusion, etc.
