Disadvantages

 

1. Relatively strong hygroscopicity

In some application scenarios where extremely high material performance requirements are imposed, such as the protection of precision instruments and equipment or in the aerospace field, such performance changes may bring certain risks.
2. Relatively high price
   The production cost of aramid fiber is relatively high, resulting in a relatively high price for aramid woven fabric. This restricts its large-scale application in some fields that are sensitive to cost. For example, in ordinary civilian clothing or some low-end products, due to price factors, aramid woven fabric is rarely used.
3. Difficult processing
   • Complex textile process: Aramid fiber has high strength and rigidity, and in the textile process, relatively high requirements are imposed on textile equipment and processes. Special textile machines and techniques are needed to ensure smooth weaving. For example, during the processing and weaving of yarns, problems such as fiber breakage and fluffing are prone to occur, increasing the processing cost and difficulty.
